Professor Katherine Rose Driggs-Campbell

Katherine Rose Driggs-Campbell is a Professor in UIUC’s Electrical and Computer Engineering and Computer Science Departments. Professor Driggs-Campbell focuses her research on developing tools for autonomous robotics, drawing from fields of human-robot interaction, optimization, learning & AI, and control theory. Professor Driggs-Campbell’s presentation with us is about designing interactive robots at the Human-Centered Autonomy Lab. Professor Yan Tang

Yan Tang is a Professor of Linguistics at UIUC. He teaches a variety of high level Linguistic courses, including those involved with Machine Learning. Professor Tang has research interests ranging from speech perception and production in noise to robust automatic speech recognition. Professor Tang’s presentation focuses on speech intelligibility enhancement in non-ideal listening conditions, and the factors involved in speech modifications.
